Konectom Privacy Policy for Konectom, Konectom Research and Konectom NMD

Konectom is made available to you by Biogen Digital Health, Inc.of 225 Binney Street, Cambridge, MA 02142, USA (“BDH”). To access and use Konectom and input personal data into it, you must be taking part in one of the Biogen clinical studies.

Konectom Research and Konectom NMD are made available to you by Biogen MA Inc. of 225 Binney Street, Cambridge, MA 02142, USA. To access and use these products and input personal data into them, you must be taking part in one of the Biogen clinical studies.

Unless otherwise specified, “mobile app” refers to Konectom, Konectom Research and Konectom NMD applications.

Information we collect and how we use it

To access the mobile app, the study coordinator will provide a patient ID and activation code to the clinical study participants. The mobile app does not collect any directly identifying data from users.

To access the web Dashboard/Portal, Healthcare professionals/ clinical study staff will log-in using their email address, name, surname and a password.

The mobile app and web Dashboard/Portal collect the following types of personal data for the following purposes:

Mobile app users: To be enrolled in the study and to be able to use the mobile app, you will have signed an informed consent form (ICF) at your study site.

This ICF explains to you how your personal data is processed within the mobile app and how we use it.

Please note that the mobile app uses your relative location data to enrich the data regarding your walking capabilities.

Dashboard Users: To be enrolled in the study, your site or company must have a signed agreement with Biogen.

You may choose not to provide the requested personal information. However, if you do not provide the above information, we will not be able to provide the information as mentioned in the purpose of collection and use as stated above.

Period of Retention

While enrolled and using the mobile app: As long as the account is active or as needed to provide services

Termination or Withdrawal: Should you choose to withdraw from the study or withdraw your consent, upon your request, such information will be immediately destroyed.

Subject to Applicable Law: If the retention of any information is required by applicable law, such information will be retained for the purposes and for the period prescribed by the law.

Your data rights

Your rights regarding the data you share in the clinical study, including the use of the mobile app, are detailed in the ICF. Please refer to your signed ICF to review your data rights and for information on how to exercise your rights. You may also contact your study coordinator at any time to withdraw your consent and stop using the mobile app.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will notify you when we do so. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes.
