Konectom and Konectom Research are digital tools developed to support clinical studies conducted by Biogen or Indivi AG. Each product includes a mobile application and a web-based dashboard/portal. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, and protected when using these tools.
Who provides Konectom
Konectom is provided by Indivi, located at Elisabethenanlage 7, CH-4051 Basel, Switzerland. Access to the mobile app is restricted to individuals participating in clinical studies sponsored by Biogen or Indivi AG.
Information we collect and how we use it
Mobile App Access: Participants receive a patient ID and activation code from their study coordinator. The app does not collect directly identifying personal data. Please note that the mobile app uses your relative location data to enrich the data regarding your walking capabilities.
Dashboard Access: Healthcare professionals and study staff access the dashboard using their name, surname, email address, and password.
The mobile app and dashboard collect specific categories of personal data for defined purposes.
Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
Your personal information collected will be shared with the Third Parties as set forth below for the clinical study:

Period of Retention
Mobile App Users: Data is retained as long as the account is active or necessary to provide services.
Dashboard Users: Accounts are periodically reviewed and removed when users are no longer part of the study.
Termination or Withdrawal
If a participant withdraws from the study or revokes consent, their data will be deleted upon request, unless retention is required by law.
Your data rights
Your rights regarding personal data collected through Konectom are outlined in the Informed Consent Form (ICF) you signed at your study site. These rights may include:
- Access to your data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Withdrawal of consent
- Request for deletion

Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Material changes will be communicated to users, and the latest version will be made available online. We encourage you to review the policy regularly.
